Rolfing is giving me a flexibility that I have never had before. I’m starting to live in a new body. I didn’t know anything about Rolfing but I was desperate to get moving after failing to recover from a fall on a ski hill. Numerous sessions of both osteopathy and acupuncture over the course of a year and a half had not addressed my pain and mobility issues. After the initial Rolfing sessions I saw an excellent Physiotherapist who gave me strengthening exercises for my right side that also helped my healing. The Physio was amazed that I was continuing with Rolfing as she had heard that it was painful. Pain is a false and bad press for Rolfing in my experience. Rolfing is not always comfortable but the difference it makes in removing real pain that interferes with everyday life is enormous. I’m now at the point that my body is learning new patterns of movement with each session. Thanks Jennifer.
